I have a 2005 RL and the navigation screen isn't working. It is black or sometimes it turns blue ( dark blue). I replaced the old screen with a newer one that was working when it was removed from the other vehicle but the problem still the same. Everything works except the display. I can hear the navigation voice, ac controls work, radio works. I have changed all the fuses on the driver's side but still no luck. Have anyone have a similar problem?
So since you've eliminated the screen as the problem its probably a failure of the video coming from the nav system in the rear of the car. you might try re-seating the wiring harness plugs in the back of the xm nav unit and the dvd nav unit.
did you or the previous owner install a backup camera?
