Hello, I am driving to Alaska passing through Canada. I noticed that my navigation on my RL doesn't show Alaska nor Canada. Though Alaska is in the US so not sure why it don't come up.

Anyway, is there anything i can do to get the Canada and Alaska maps installed on my car besides those 48 states?

you will need to purchase canada/hawaii map separately.
RL navi won't work in alaska and will display no signal/out or range.

Weird how there are is for canada and hawaii but not alaska.

I did so many searches but couldn't get any information if it is possible or not. As for the poster of that topic you gave me, I directed him with a message hopefully he can respond to me since it has been 5 years last time he was active.

GPS relies on geosynchronous orbiting satellites to function properly. Alaska is not within the range of the satellites normally used for Acura's GPS operation.

No wonder why Acuras are not there.

Continental Acura is located in AK.
also, newer HDD based navi covers all 50 states.

Noones addressing the real issue here....driving...to Alaska...

Being north of the boarder Im going to see how far my nav stretches. I've taken it as far south as Kentucky. I wonder how much of the US and CA I have.
