05 RL w/new AC compressor blows weak cool air

I just purchased an 05 RL where the compressor, condenser and dryer were placed by the previous owner. The AC blows cool, not cold air. When a thermometer is put in a vent with the AC running, it reads 70F (outside temp of 85F with 60% humidity). The refrigerant has been confirmed to be full and there are no leaks. From reading other posts on the site, people are saying that the AC should be quite cold, but in my car it isn't. The interior takes quite a while to cool down.

Any other parts of the system that should be looked at?

Thanks in advance for any help.

BTW, I have also confirmed that the cabin filter was installed in the proper orientation.

Is this at initial idle or at speed? Does your compressor kick on?

Both at initial idle and at speed. Yes, the compressor kicks on. It's not like it is blowing warm air. Cool air does come out, but it is just weak.

Motor? I don't know too much about A/C components.

They were replaced by the previous owner? When? Maybe its time for a recharge.

Also I just had my compressor replaced and a recharge and my air is pretty cool but it's not freezing. Its a decent AC but not the best to begin with IMO. Guy I know who also owns an RL said his is the same.

Also make sure all your vents are open front and back, will help circulate the cool air around quicker.

'05s have notoriously troublesome A/Cs. Definitely the weakest part of the car for that MY. Shit sucks, but there is a lot of history and literature here to read up on.
