I've looked through a bunch of threads and couldn't find anything direct about the problem i'm having. I bought the car in march, have all the records, and my odom. just hit 83,000. When i put the car in reverse(it's an automatic), i hear a click coming from the front of the car. Also noticed it when slowing down under 10 mph. Also can feel and/or hear the click sometimes in the shifter area.... i'm assuming the torque converter box is where it is coming from? Any help would be much appreciated.

 

Is it just one click or several?

If it's just one, the click is probably the lock-out which prevents a rapid shift from drive to reverse (or reverse to drive)
