Winter tire sizing

Hi, I'm about to switch to a RDX and I was wondering if I would be able to run 215/60/r16 off of my old crv. If not are there other sizes I can run on Michelin x ices?

I don't think a 16" rim will work. If you have one, you can try it out and check your caliper clearances. Go on The Tire Rack web site. They only recommend 18" and 17" wheels.

You can run a 17" CRV rim and tire, I don't think 16's will clear the calliper.

Not sure I understand the question.

It is unlikely that the 16" wheels will clear the brakes and suspension bits.

The tires are the incorrect sizes even if the wheels would clear.

Michelin X-ice's are available in the proper sizes to fit your car.

I just put on my winter tires which are mounted on 17" alloy wheels. After looking at the clearances on the calipers, I think the 16" wheels may actually work. Your total tire circumference may be off a bit, but if you have the wheels, give them a try.
