Transmission issues-buyer beware

I would stay away from Acura's of this generation. I took mine in due to engine lurching forward car is under CPO power train warranty. They convinced me to first try a transmission flush and change a pressure switch-all at my cost. The Transmission Pressure switch you would think would be covered by warranty but it isn't. No one reads the fine prints at time of purchase. The problem is still not resolved and Acura is stalling on replacing what is the inevitable-changing the transmission. They want to get it repaired enough that it would be my burden once I am out of warranty.

Can you explain in detail your issue with transition?

If I don't let the car warm up for few minutes and put it in drive while the engine is at 1100rpm, it tends to lurch. But if its at 900 or better yet 700rpm, there is no lurch. Could possibly be a reason behind your unfortunate luck?

The original poster here did not give any basic information that should be posted in almost all posts. Like what year, what model, current miles (km), miles when purchased.

There is a Technical Service bulletin on the transmissions in this and all Hondas that use this transmission: B17-018
One can read it, print it out and present it to the dealer if necessary. They are all listed in a post here.

The original posters main problem is not with the vehicle, but a crappy dealer. Maybe just a crappy service advisor.
