cpl concerns with 2018 Rdx new
Recently bought 2018 RDX tech AWD and was hoping someone here would be able to clear a cpl of concerns for me ..
1. Oil health indicator - it was 100% when we bought the vehicle and at about 900 miles it fell to 90% which is acceptable. but then at 1150 miles it fell to 80% which i feel very odd. Did anyone else notice this ?
2. Engine sound used to be real soft in the beginning but now at around 1000 miles i started feeling the Engine is running a little rougher and also when i shift from reverse to drive im hearing a click noise from the bottom ...
any clues on the above two concerns ?

I wouldn't get too excited about the oil life unless it drops precipitously all of a sudden. Just don't make the first change too early. The dealer should have told you that when you bought the vehicle.
There's some noise when shifting from reverse to drive. It's the drive train taking up slack in the opposite direction. It's a matter of degree. If you think it's excessive, have the dealer check it out.

its not really excessive ( about the reverse to drive ) but its noticeably more on cold starts ..

tinmaner: Glad you asked those two questions, as I have a new 2018 RDX that I have had about two months. My RDX does the same thing - noise level from engine, tranny, and oil life dropping to 50% at 2200. The answers saved me from having to post the same questions!
