2015 tech Keyfob issue
Since day one I have had two distinct issues with the Acura keyfobs.
1. Using Driver 1 fob it frequently registers and shifts all setting to Driver 2. This has happened with Driver 2 key fob being 700 miles away. The only way to get the RDX back to Driver 1 is to shut down the RDX, egt out, lock the doors with the D 1 key fob, unlock (some times it requires 10 plus cycles) then re-enter the RDX and start it. This happens weekly. Dealer says they have no idea... It happens in revers with the Driver 2 fob. Batteries have been changed and tested and are "excellent".
2. Again using D1 or D2 I get the occasional error (immediately after starting the RDX that there is no key fob present, yet the RDX started and the key fob is in the cupholder by the console. The only way to fix this is stop the engine, and restart. Don't have to exit or anything, just stay seated and restart.
Friggin frustrating...
Anyone?

Sounds like you need to take it back to the dealer again.
Were they able to duplicate the issue? They just said they have no idea and gave the vehicle back to you? Are you still under warranty? They need to step up and figure out how to fix this.

I have had this happen twice in two months since I got my new 2017 RDX Advance. I used keyfob 1, and when I go to get in, the seat is too close, and the radio setting and such are all for keyfob 2. Obviously a glitch somewhere. Hasn't been enough of an issue for me to take it to the dealer.

There seems to be some ongoing issue affecting a very small number of vehicles. Not sure yet if fobs or vehicle is the root cause. Dealer wants the RDX for an extended period...last time dealer took my Acura for an extended period one of their staff treated it as their personal vehicle (don't ask) and they never were able to fix the issue and Acura Canada bought back the vehicle and sold me a new model year at cost. The also paid a rental for five months...lol
They are taking the RDX in next week to see if they can replicate it (doubtful) and I have been sending them pictures of the issue as well as the "Keyless Remote Not Detected" error message when I am driving, parked, etc" even when the batteries have been metered and changed multiple times and so on...something is seriously wrong and thankfully the Not Detected issue hasn't caused any serious problem YET.
