Looks good! Where you able to install the TPMS sensors on them? I haven't tried on mine. Waiting to do it all at once when I get new tires.

Thanks for finally posting photos! Is your grill the "beak" part painted with oem graphite luster metallic and the exterior part that was chrome is black? Hard to tell but looks GREAT I want to do the same. Did the dealer paint it for you?

I noticed you have tech so no ACC but would that effect it does anyone know?

Yes, TPMS sensors went in just fine. If you want to use the blue valve stems that come with the wheels, they have a strap they can use to strap the sensor to the inside of the wheel, and put the blue valve stems in place. I wanted the TPMS sensors in the spot where they were designed to be though. Just make sure to use new gaskets and washers when you put them in, so they don't leak.

Yes, the beak is painted. I just had a local paint shop do it. All the chrome trim on the car was professionally wrapped in matte black 3m Vinyl, that includes the chrome grill surround, the chrome trim above the fog lights, all the window trim, and the trim around the rear reflectors.

The car is also wrapped in 3m Pro series paint protection film, including the bumper, hood, mirrors, fenders, door cups, door edges, and the entire OEM body kit. The painted beak was also covered, and all the matte trim in the front.

The paint has no effect on the beak on tech models, there is no radar behind the grill, some people have even painted the advanced with no degrading effects to ACC.

How does wrapping a car in 3m work? Theres a place near me that does something called ghost shield which looks like amazing top notch stuff but they quoted me at $4,000 for my entire car, yikes! I already had a rock chip make a pretty nasty mark in my grill and a few tiny ones on my hood, oh well.

For the beak paint can anyone chime in what I would need/not need for my ACC waves to still work, I read somewhere else to not use metallic paint?

Thanks, good to know. What specs are your RS? I need to get the correct tires on mine. Looks nice with the fatty looking tire.

Google the 3m stuff, theres videos. Its a clear film that gets professionally installed on the vehicle. The only ones i would recommend are Xpel and 3m pro series. Also, make sure the installer really knows whats he's doing. There are a lot of hacks out there installing this stuff and it can look like shit. Do a search for Roadrunner Protective Films on Facebook, he's the best installer in the pacific NW, if not the whole west coast. He's got lots of videos on there on what a good install should look like, and what a shitty install looks like, as he ends up redoing the stuff that turns out like shit from the other installers around here. He did all the wrap on my car.

As far as your beak is concerned, just take it down to a reputable paint and body shop and they should be able to help you out and make it right.

They are 19x9 +29 in the rear +38 in the front, with the 245-40-19 tires (Size Acura recommends on there accessory 19's) That size gives the closest accuracy for the speedometer.

I'd guess gunmetal due to the polished type finish

I believe Advan called them Dark Gunmetal. They are a dark metallic gray, very similar to the Graphite color of the car

Yes, they are discontinued. The RS II are out now (Slightly different spoke design, no dark gunmetal color). You may be able to find a dealer with old stock, or find a used set. I purchased my set from a friend that got one of the last sets after they were discontinued. She only used them for a few months before she decided she wanted to go a different route after she bagged her car.

Yes, i have SPC camber arms in the back. Rear camber is about -1.5, which is within specs. -2 is just outside of specs (-1.8)

op, a couple quick questions if you dont mind...

how much lower are you now compared to when you had the rsr springs?

also, when you had your 19x8.5 vossen set up with the springs, how much did that wheel/tire set up stick out or sunk in?

The springs were about 1 inch, coilovers probably about 2 inches

Vossens in the front were flush with the fender, rears were sunk in just a little, but that can change depending on size of tire you go with

Love what you have done to your GLM. As others have said those wheels, tires, and drop really look good. Really beefs up the side profile of the car.
i have the same color and after seeing how yours looks after painting the front shield I'm thinking about doing the same but I'm worried about my ACC. I guess it would be OK if the shop I use doesn't use metallic paint? But if the factory paint is metallic I'm not sure if it's going to match.
