came out great... not too sure yet if I wanna also dip/gloss the chrome trim around the grill...but love this look. the big ass shield was always the focus of attention on the front of the car...not anymore!

I think it looks great, in fact it is something I would consider doing my self.

What color is your RDX? It appears to be graphite luster (or is it black?). I assume the plastidip is only available in black?

it's graphite luster and yes, I highly recommend this simple project. 2hrs maximum but be sure to take the time necessary to mask/tape/cover all surrounding areas. Plastidip is available in a few different colors but the flat matte black with the glossifier is my preference.

good looks man, I got crystal black and would love to see someone do this to see how it would look.

Also I see you have the same microfiber clothes as me , do you like them or are they trash? I think they are alright but not as absorbent.

Is this removable including the glossifier?

The towels are very average but they're cheap too lol.

Gloss sits on top of the dip and completely peels off with it. 100% removable.

Both look great. On the 13-15 the whole front looks good painted.

I do agree the trim is there for contrast but the fully painted does look good. If you go that route: Will you be doing the rear rim piece?

^^^ hey, I went with removable stuff only.

Black plastidip - 4 layers

Plastidip Glossifier - 3 layers

if you can get it painted instead, go that route ... dip is quite durable... went through dozens of car washes with no sign of dip scratching.

I'm debating doing this on my WDP '16 but without the glossifier. I think I prefer the full matte black look to go with the rest of the grille area.

I’ve previously dipped my grill but now handling the beak another way: Total removal.

If you’ve followed the #DeleteTheBeak hashtag on IG, you’ve seen a number of TLX’s with a grill swap to the current design. Got one done for the RDX 2GEN, I believe it’s his first one. While he wasn’t able to do the swap to include the current grill insert design, I choose the insert to be of a hexagonal mesh pattern that resembles the mesh pattern on the faux air vents. Will ship today and install soon.
