Serpentine belt replacement
Does anyone know how to replace the serpentine belt on a 2015 RDX? I actually have a 2016 but I thought 2015 would be the same and more people would own the earlier model. I also found a tool:

I am not sure if the tool woul work? I have changed the belt on a 2005 accord and it was fairly easy.
Googling didn't help me much because I didn't find an RDX link.

typically, all Honda's rely on grabbing the hex head on the idler pulley and pulling it with a long handled wrench and a socket the right size, and you just push in the right direction to take the pressure off. I haven't tried to look at the RDX, but most other Hondas have been that approach. I have a 2' 1/2" drive non-ratcheting socket wrench that I'd put a socket on, angle 90 degrees at the base, and have at it.....
Any reason you're asking so soon after getting your RDX?

You need to replace your serpentine belt on your 16 already? Am I missing something?

Oh.....no I didn't damage my 16 already. It's my first Acura so while I am on vacation I wanted to find out if I have useful skills going forward. I read so many bad things about dealers I begin to wonder how competent they are and how much work I can do. So far I am loving it.
