Easy Entry/Exit Driver's Seat?
Please tell me I'm missing something in the owner's manual.
My Ford Edge and my Toyota Avalon both have a seat memory function that slides the driver's seat all the way back when the door is opened and then forward to the preferred driving position when the engine is started. Curiously, I can't locate that function in my '17 RDX with (I thought) all the whistles and bells. Did Acura really leave this handy setting out or am I just a dimwit who can't locate it? If it's in there please tell me where I can turn it on.
Cheers!

It does not have that feature. However, if you are the main or only driver, you can use the seat memory feature to do this. Just set one of them to what is comfortable for
you and the other to what makes it easy for entry & exit. I recommend doing something like this to my smaller friends to help valets. When they get out, they can push the
driver 2 button to make it easier for the valet. (because their normal seat position is very close top the wheel)
My wife & I do use both seat presets, but have the auto resetting of them linked to the key turned off. That way either of us can unlock and just push the button to set the seat.
There are so many settings, both in the MID and the center stack screens, that it took several sessions to get everything dialed in. (many are driver specific)
I did most of them sitting the cell lot of airports. Waiting + bored = fiddling done.

Great tips Egads, thanks! It's hard to believe the 'luxury' division of Honda left that feature out when an ordinary Ford and Toyota (probably others) include it as part of the memory feature. But then Acura only gives us two memory seat buttons; others three.
