Covering up a bumper scratch

Covering up a bumper scratch
Need some advice on how to cover up a big scratch on the front bumper of 2013 RDX. I got a quote from a body shop, and they said 400 to take off bumper match the color and respray the whole thing. I feel like that's not necessary and just want to cover the spot up. I'm sure it won't look as good, but should look better than just an ugly scratch. Can someone recommend the method and where I can get the right color (forged silver metalic)? Never did a fix like this before. I have attached a picture of the damage.

No, use the Acura touch up paint right from the bottle. This does not require a "clear coat" on top. It has a brush applicator, or ball point pen type applicator. The bumpers on the new cars are junk. They should at least put a rubber strip on them (like a door molding).

Greg2012....I know you may not like what I will say but that is too much damage to use a touch up paint. 400$ is actually not bad to have this repaired properly, now if you don't care about the quality of the repair, then sure, use the touch up paint but I know I couldn't live with a "less than perfect" repair.
That's just my 2 cents....

There are a few other options;
1. A detailer may be able to make it almost unnoticable.
2. Wet sanding. I have only ever done this on lovely VAG paint but it can have some amazing results. However, it can also go very wrong and on plastic it doesn't blend in nearly as well. While I have done it and tackled long and wide scratches (10"+), I know I will be bricking it the first time I try it on soft paint.
Personally, I would shy away from a complete respray right now because at some point there will be more scratches appear. Maybe if you post a photo people can advise better.
