Xm navtraffic canada
Does anyone know if the xm navtraffic in canada is compatible with the 2013 rdx and shows up on the navi screen? Xm tells me yes but acura canada says no. I believe it does on u. s. vehicles with siriusxm but do not know if it will work in canada with xmtraffic

Just as heads up to Canadian RDX owners, the Navtraffic service is now available for subscription to Canadians.
After chatting with the fellow on the phone, he quoted me $36 for 3 month of Navtraffic only service.
WTF you get this service in the US for 1/3 of our price, however he couldn't explain to me the reason behind it. Also unlike the US models, this service does not come with a 3 month complimentary on the new Canadian models.
That's what I call a rip off....
I may consider subscribing if they provide me with any special offers in the future.

JUST A FYI for all CANADIAN RDX Owners,
Acura Canada has disabled this (removed the antenna) from all RDX models (all Acura models in fact). so even if you sub with XM , you can NOT get it this to work.
Cheers,

^^ Maybe that is why they gave us the fog light as a "standard equipment" unlike the US...so they can help us find our own way!
In all seriousness, I can't understand why companies chose to treat US and Canada so differently. Aren't we worthy of having any decent services? I swear, sometime I don't blame our US friends for thinking we have no running water and still have outhouses, because sometime, I feel we are so far behind!
