My 8 month old RDX with Tech has just started to randomly reset Trip A. It is set to reset when I get gas and has always worked fine. For some reason it now occasionally thinks I just got gas. Anyone else see this?

 

Anyone know what sensor will reset Trip A when gas is added?

 

I never set my vehicles to reset when I get gas.....It would be too embarrassing! It would reset on average, about, oh every 2 minutes! (lol)

Oh you meant gasoline.......

In all seriousness, no I have never experienced that problem. Have you ever tried change the default to set manually for a few tanks and then put back to "auto reset" and see if that helps?

 

My best guess is it resets when the level in the tank raises the float over a predetermined amount. Do you park on an incline or drive on a steep slope?
That may be the cause.

 

I'm getting the same thing in both my 2012 TL and my 2013 MDX!! WTH!!
