Just got the 2014 RDX and when I go to the Pandora function I get no sound. My Pandora stations list but no sound. Any ideas?

How are you connecting, USB or Bluetooth? What kind of phone? What is the operating system on your phone? Are you using the newest version of Pandora? Can you hear music if you play songs stored on your phone? Lots of variables.

I have an iPhone 5 with iOS7. I have also used an iPhone 4 and 4S with iOS 5 and 6. My stuff works well with the Pandora function in the 2013 RDX Tech.

 

Did you increase the volume on your phone to the max?

 

How do you the tech package? I am strongly considering getting a 2014 rdx but wonder how useful the 4k tech package is ...hid lights good or something costly to break, gps cool or can be accomplished by a garmin?

I think that what happens is that the RDX Pandora mode works with the handsfreelink (through USB connection) instead of Bluetooth; in that case the iPhone Pandora app acts as a bridge (screen text: Pandora accessories) so that you use the car Pandora interface

Previous to upgrading my iphone to IOS 7 I could always click the iPhone audio player app and redirect the audio to Handsfreelink if bluethooth was selected. I have always found it cumbersome and stupid that if i am using pandora through bluethooth (using the iPhone pandora app) then to switch to the car pandora interface I had to connect the cable and ... go to the iphone audio player app and redirect the output. In IOS 7 I cannot see that option anymore in the iPhone audio player so at the beginning I was at lost ...

I found a trick. it consists of disabling the iPhone Bluetooth (fast way is by using the new control center available in IOS 7) and as soon as i do that the iphone redirects the audio to the only available channel (handsfreelink), then I enable Bluetooth again and voila, ....

ps: My new 5s is on the way so hopefully the integration is smooth.

ps1: ... and talking about audio. I have the tech package (2013 RDX) and I have been experiencing an annoying rattling noise (it feels in my driver door) at very high bass levels. I think that the door speaker is blown (although it could be the bass). Hopefully the warranty covers that, does anybody know?
