Getting XM coverage in an area without it?
Getting XM coverage in an area without it?
Hey Acurazine enthusiasts,
I am a proud owner of a 2013 RDX FWD w/Tech Package, and I've been loving everything about it except that in Hawaii, we don't get XM radio. And from my understanding, no XM coverage also means no AcuraLink Realtime Traffic & Weather (XM NavTraffic). I'm sure some of you are also in areas that don't receive XM radio, so my question is how do we get XM to extend their service to our area(s)?
I'm sure in XM's defense, they can justify lack of coverage due to the lack of customers in a certain means not feasible market to provide coverage. But I think if they don't provide the service at all, how will they know who won't subscribe to it.
Let me know if there are any ideas or suggestions to getting the service in our area. Or is there any market research out there that provides XM with criteria for providing coverage in an area or not.
Thanks in Advance
