This morning, no XM and back doors didn't unlock when the ignition was turned off as normally happens? Restarted the car and everything was fine?

 

Hard to say if it only happened once. How old is your battery? There are other threads where a dying battery has caused all sorts of crazy electrical issues. New battery solved them.

 

Got the car in August, drive it pretty much every day. I'll mention it when I bring it in for the 1st service.

 

Yes, just today. Went out to the garage and found the hatch door open. That's not the way I left it last night. Got in the car and no XM -- zero. Voice prompt voice was turned on -- not the way it had been set. Upon restarting, XM returned. Voice prompt did not reset, however.

 

Happened again today. This time my wife witnessed it. She went out to the garage and, when she walked by the car (didn't touch it), the tail gate alarm beeped and the gate opened.

I couldn't get to the "vehicle settings" in the "settings" screen as it was grayed out.

This is the precise reason why I didn't buy a Grand Cherokee.
