Can Caller ID display Name instead of phone number?

Can Caller ID display Name instead of phone number?
It appears that even if the phone number is defined in speed dial section, when call comes in from this number, navigation screen displays the number and not the name. Is there any way to make it display the name and not the phone number?

I found why it didn't work. I had phone numbers in iPhone in this format "+1 (555) 555 5555". Once I removed "+1", it started displaying the name of the caller.
