Bluetooth audio lag

I have a iPhone 4S, and I noticed that there's probably a 1 to 2 second lag/delay from when you switch songs on the wheel to the song changing through the audio. (Similar lag with starting the audio for the first time, or changing songs on the iphone).

I rented a Ford Edge and noticed zero delay. I was wondering for people with phones other than the 4S, have you noticed this delay as well?

The delay is "normal". I imagine it can be annoying if you like to skip multiple tracks in a row.

I heard the Ford Edge is nice.

In other news, the Kia Soul can voice dial without downloading your phonebook.

I've got a 4s and noticed the same annoying issue in my '14 I picked up last week. I rented a Fusion in June and there was no delay. For all the criticism "MyFord Touch" gets, I find that system much better and easier to use than the disappointingly awful Acura system.

I have the same lag with my galaxy note 2, its fine for listening to songs but when streaming youtube or watching a movie of the phone it gets anoying. I also had tried bluetooth on a ford fusion and works with no lag.
