2018 Acura RDX AcuraLink problems

I am having problems with my 2018 Acura RDX with Elite package. Navigation does not work all the time. AcuraLink works sometimes but not always.

I contacted the dealer 4 times and sent emails to the manufacturer several times and they opened 5 case files, but, never did anything.

My question is does AcuraLink have a software problem that works intermittently.

Thanks for your response.

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a topic/technical issue which will require replies and discussion, this thread has been moved from the New Member Introductions forum to the model specific forum.

When you first arrive at Acurazine.com, scroll down the page a bit and you'll see where the respective model/year subsections are listed. The high level RDX forum you're interested in is here:

https://acurazine.com/forums/second-...2013-2018-404/

And from there you can see the topic appropriate forum Ron moved this post to (Bluetooth, Electrical, & Nav).

You can also navigate through the forums using the pulldown menu at the upper left of the page under the "Forums" button. Right underneath the orange Acurazine page header.

I am going to suggest you also edit your profile so that it shows your location. Why that is important it will get to next.

Is it possible for for you to see a different dealer? If we knew roughly where you are, others may have some dealers suggestions.
I think it is really sad that an Acura dealer would be ignoring you this way.
That said, you also have to be willing to spend the time going over everything with them if they are willing. I think there are also
some online videos explaining how everything is supposed to work. I need to learn all this myself. My wife, who is the primary driver
of our RDX came from a Honda with Navigation and she finds it different enough to be confusing. For one thing, it is all so integrated into everything else you can control that you have to get to the right screen to begin with. Let me see what I can find...

So, I wonder if all of the steps were done right as outlined in this service bulletin sent to dealers:

or perhaps you have this problem:
