Hey,

Just picked up this car a few days ago, and having a hard time with the xm device.

1 - How do you pause live music ?

2- How do you Rewind or forward track that are playing on XM ?

3 - Most of all, how do you store your favourite artists / songs and get an alert when they are playing ?

These are all things I was able to do quite easily on my previous vehicle that had a Sirius radio.

I don't think you can do any of these things.

 

You are correct and boy does that suck....

 

Was that a factory Sirius radio, or one you could move from car to car? I know on the portable receivers, you can have some of those features.

 

It was a factory installed Siruis radio in my wifes 2011 Ford Edge.......I assumed the technology would increase, not decrease after 4 years.

 

I have that on my 2005 XM radio and the 2009 one, but not on any of the factory units. It is pretty bad that they removed these features, but (back at the time) there were huge complaints from the copyright holders as there was from the TV copyright holders about "PVR/DVR" units.

Sad...
