2013 Bluetooth Issue
I believe I posted this originally in the wrong thread. My apologies. Here is my problem:
Just updated from a 2008 RDX to a 2013. We have simple Sansung Brightside phones from Verizon. They worked fine in the 2008, but have connection problems with the 2013.
Most of the time, placing calls from the in-dash system does not work. A call is made but neither party can hear anything. Pressing the "transfer" button twice will allow things to work, but that is very awkward.
Assuming the phone is not compatible with the 2013 (and it is inexcusable that a phone that works with a 2008 won't work with a 2013), is anyone aware of any cheap pay-as-you-go phones that work with the 2013 reliably? Our cellular plan does not allow for an upgrade for many months, so paying full-price for a phone is just not possible. I would like to just throw a phone in the glove compartment and just use it in the car.
Any help from the community is muchly appreciated.

Have you looked at Acura's HandsFreeLink compatibility site:
http://www.acura.com/HandsFreeLink.aspx
It lists the compatible phones.
Also, are you sure you're pressing the "pick-up" button rather than the "talk" button? See page 195 of the NAV manual.
