Windshield fogging up inside

Hi everyone,

Recently bought a RDX tech '14 and I reside in Ottawa. This winter is pretty harsh and I find that after driving and leaving my car parked outdoors, when I come back, the inside windshield is fogged up.
It takes another 10 minutes to get the window to defog!
How annoying!

Anyone else have this issue?

What do you recommend I do to prevent this?

all cars do that as the moisture in the air will settle on the cold surfaces and condense when there is a lot of moisture in the air...

Fogged up or frosted? Keep your floor mats dry. Don't use the recirculation mode. Eliminate sources of moisture in the interior and it should no longer be an issue.

Is your climate setting on outside air or recirculate? Sometimes having recirculate in winter will lead to a build up of moisture.

if you are using full auto sometimes the system cannot keep up so you can do one of 2 things

1. increase your fan speed slightly
2. turn on defroster, thus overriding the system
