Transmission Issue?

Today, my 2017 RDX Advance starting shuttering and making a disturbing noise when shifting at low speeds when accelerating from a stop and when accelerating from a slow speed. Any thoughts on what this could be? It has 41,000 miles, is in great shape and is dealer maintained.

Does it sound like a louch screech each time the tires rotate, similiar to the issue I was having as linked below?

Check the transmission fluid level because you are serviced by a dealer and that is bad.

If the tranny shifts really hard and there is a loud bang...Oil Pressure Switches - one or more are going bad

Yours sounds like a backer plate or dust shield. If you have them, I would put the front end up on jack stands with the transmission in neutral and see if you can spin the wheels by hand and recreate the noise. If need be, do the same with the rear. Doing so you should be able to isolate the noise from the transmission and subsequently at each corner.

I agree with this. 41,000 miles is fairly low, have you had any transmission or rear differential fluid (you don't mention if you are FWD or AWD) maintenance done?

I ended up having a seized driver rear caliper that wore down so much so, to the point where it was metal on metal. I got that replaced along with warped rotors and my car feels brand new lmao.

I also agree. 41k miles is like just breaking in the car.
