tech pkg

IMO...the tech pkg is well worth the price. Not only do you get the ELS,Xenon Lights, Power Lift-gate, Navi...you also get the voice controls. I like being able to tell they system to turn on the climate at a certain temp without touching different sequence buttons.

Features similar to these in my BMW were far more than 3k. I really like Acura for making it affordable.

I also think in this day/age, a "Tech" pkg should also include options such as parking sensors, blind-spot detection and also a more intuitive navi with smart-phone integration.

Acura's definition of a "Tech" package was decent back in 2009, but almost laughable today. And don't even get me started on the so-called "Advance" package, which usually only adds a few safety nannies. What is so advanced about features that can be had standard on some vehicles almost half the price?

Agree, and actually I'd go back a bit further...I remember when I drove off the lot in the new 2004 TL Tech...it WAS advance for that time...my 12 TL Tech didn't give that same "wow" factor...even the new TLX is a disappointment.

Sheesh, the older base RDXs came standard with HID xenon headlights and fog lights....and even the cargo cover

As Always.... IMHO
Exactly! TBH I'd be happy with a CR-V... but an SUV with 4 cylinders *shudder* I very much enjoy the V-6.

Got my RDX with Tech. Sure it's clunky and dated but over all positive about the added lights (fog and HID), better radio, power hatch and navigation. Would have seemed lacking without those items.
