Sunshade / cargo nets
I have a guy that has a window tinting shop and he's done business for me for 30+ years. I had him tint the front windows to match the factory tint in the rear and he also tinted the windshield. You can't tell it's there but it is amazing, none of the damaging UV rays get in and the front dash stays cool, even when parked in the sun. For me in South Florida it was necessary. I also second Auto Anything for their Sunshade.
I got Air Blue 80 installed on my windshield and it is great. It is so lite you can hardly tell it is there but it does cut down on heat and I never has to mess with a physical shade. TX allows a 'clear' film on the windshield. The Air Blue 80 isn't quite clear but it is pretty close. I've had the car inspected and it was not an issue for Texas. I think Llumar may have changed the name of this product, and they have since come out with a perfectly clear film that they claim blocks UV.
I will get this same thing done on my next new car and reduce the years of TX heat and sun damage on my dash.

Unable to comment on cargo, but front window is tinted and also use Eclipse sunshade. I also bought from Acura dealership a sunshade that rolls up and requires room to store. The eclipse is like it has an elastic rubber band that retracts the accordian type sunshade, it is very quick and doesn't require storage space. I know that some states restrict placing anything on the windshield.
