All of my vehicles came with splash guards installed with the exception of my Civic which only had them installed in the front so I bought another set and installed them on the rear which cleaned up the rear wheel wells nicely.

I would go for the front ones at least, that corner of the fender closest to the ground and wheel will take a beating from rocks and road dirt over the years.
