Hi All,
I was told that the 2016 RDX AWD models include the spare tire and jack. However the FWD models only have a sealant kit and no jack.
Can those of you who have purchased already confirm that for me?

That is correct. Went through all this before I picked up my AWD Advance. AWD's have the spare. FWD's do not. Many car manufacturer's are going this route. Or nothing at all, in some cases, using run flat tires.

 

Thanks, I don't know about others but i would prefer the spare.
The inflation kit is only going to work in certain instances after all.
I guess if i decide on a fwd i will need to buy the kit.

 

I can also confirm this. To me, the spare was a must and I was going to add it if I purchased a FWD. When I went to put my deposit down, I was told the only Advanced my dealer could get in the color I wanted was AWD. Since I was on the fence already I agreed to take the AWD, but I wanted to be assured that the spare came with it. The GSM did not know for sure that it came with it, so the deal we made was that if it didn't he would provide one at no extra cost, or if it did he would give me an additional $400.00 off. Thanks to this forum and Co. Guy in particular, I got the additional $400.00 off
