I wonder where they all are? I just got back from a 10 day trip to Boston, Halifax, St John, Bar Harbor and Portland. I didn't see a single RDX of any year. And only a few Acuras of any kind in Boston and one MDX in Halifax.

I am in SF Bay area and I see many many Acuras on the roads. Most of them are MDXs and TLs with some TSXs thrown in. Very few RDXs overall. I have seen 3 2013 RDXs on the roads here so far. It would be nice to know region by region sales numbers.
Acura has been selling a bit shy of 3000 per month for last 5 months or so!!

I was at my dealer last week and they told me that they cannot get any more through December. Demand is still outpacing supply here.

Jim, there are a few gen 2 RDX here in Halifax, but not many. I was actually behind another one on the road earlier today. There are not many Gen 1 RDX here either, but lots of MDX.

Maybe the economy is doing better or folks have more confidence in spending more? Sales seem to up for most Honda and Acura brands (excluding most hybrid models).

That is surprising. I live in the Boston area and see lots of MDXs. I've been wondering the same thing about the new RDX though. I've only seen a couple of them.

I was staying at a hotel near Copley Square. Did the hop on hop off bus tour for two days. I did see some Acuras, a few MDXs and a couple of TLs, not a single RDX of any year.

Hey weather, I don't know of any Halifax, USA. I was in Halifax and St John, Canada. It was a cruise, Boston, Halifax and St John Canada, Bar Harbor and Portland Maine and back to Boston.

Anyway, no RDX of any year.

LOL, Jim

Hi weather. This American has been to your paradise twice. First time many years ago I flew to Montreal, rented a car and drove up the St Lawrence River to northern New Brunswick over to Nova Scotia, Peggy's Cove ,etc and then took a ferry to Bar Harbor and drove back to Montreal from where I flew back home. Yes, it is a paradise (in summer) but I wouldn't want to live there in winter.

Your friend, Jim

Lending more in the sub-prime market.

I never see new RDXs here in NE Indiana. The local dealership can't seem to get any inventory and I suspect the only ones they're getting in are those ordered by customers. Right now they have two; both are AWD/Tech. One black and one white. I saw another white one on the road a couple weeks ago; lo and behold it had an Illinois plate. Otherwise I haven't seen one since mid-July, just a few days after I picked up mine.

Lots and lots of MDXs and TLs around though.

I saw one on the way to work today while it was still dark. It was nice to see another one on the road.

Wow! There are about 150 million cars on the road in the US. (Not counting trucks and busses.) Total 2nd gen RDX sales is about 19 thousand. So, there is about ONE 2nd gen RDX for every 8,000 cars. No wonder we don't see many!

And I'm very glad it's that way. It's one of the reasons we didn't consider a Lexus RX -- because they are everywhere. There's nothing unique or special about owning an RX anymore, IMO.

Same here. I can't drive two miles without seeing an RX.

I am on mid peninsula. I see a few here and there.

There is one black and one forged silver that I see daily. Other than that it has been slim pickings.

Well congratulations on being like minded!!

RDX sales are strong in all the Acura dealerships I've visited in Colorado, that includes 2 in the Denver area and 1 in Col. Springs. They don't stay on the lots very long. Pickings are slim. Hard to get colors.

Now, MDX's....that's another story. Acura makes tons of them...since they have been a huge hit for some time. Most all dealers have rows and rows of them. No problem finding the one you want, color, etc. Same day...do the deal and out of the lot in your new MDX.
Not the same with RDX's. But, too, I don't think we'll ever see Acura make near as many as the MDX. And, the RDX is still new....and has been a hit. Be interesting to see what the story will be like next summer when they are a year old.

Chicago area must get a lot of the inventory. The dealer I bought from in September had 22 RDX on the lot when I was there and another dealer, which has two different locations, had a total of over 40 RDX. There are about 4 other dealers in Chicago suburbs that had good inventories but nothing approaching the ones I mentioned.
