Reset Warning Lights After Replacing Wheel Speed Sensor?

2013 RDX. Needed a new front drivers wheel bearing and while I had the knuckle pulled and the wheel speed sensor disconnected, I turned on the ignition to unlock the steering wheel and noticed all the warning lights on the dash got tripped (Check Brake System, Check ABS System, Check VSA System, Check Hillstart Assist System, Check Power Steering System). I will be replacing the wheel speed sensor with a new one when I put the knuckle back on, but would like to know if those tripped warnings will go away simply by plugging in the new sensor? Will go away only after the car has been driven and it cycles thru detecting the wheel speed sensor? Needs to be reset by a scan tool? Or some other procedure to reset the warnings?

Thank you.

I would disconnect the battery before plugging it back in, and then reconnect the battery once everything is put back together.

Probably will need a scanning tool for reset. The cheap ones will do the job, no need to go over board for high
dollar..at least my cheap one works fine when needed and will work on all the different makes of rides we have.

depends. The cheaper ones aren’t bidirectional and won’t be able to do things that are ABS/VSA/ SRS related.

For what it's worth, every single warning light came on when we took our RDX onto the track (just a slow tour) of Charlotte motor speedway, it definitely didn't like driving at a 25 degree angle. I had the same concern, but after a couple times turning the car off and on throughout the tour, everything went away. Hopefully it's as simple as that for you once the sensor is reconnected.

Thanks for the feedback all.

To update. Once I had everything reassembled and started the car the warning lights were still active. As soon as I began driving they all went off.
