Rear view camera

The rear view camera of RDX has 3 different viewing modes /angles. Anyone one knows how does it do that (I mean the mechanism). I don't see any movement of the camera itself. Is it purely done by software?

Yes it is all controlled by the software, using one lens and a fixed camera to produce one large image. The scan is then cut into whichever view you are trying to look at, and while in wide angle it is distorted to produce a fish eye effect, giving you about 170 degrees field of view.
