Rear Rumble

My '15 RDX has a rumble sound coming from the right rear at highway speeds, not happening at city speeds. Sounds sort of like I am being followed by a cycle or old noisy v8 pick-up. Thoughts?

Try having someone drive while you sit back there. That might help narrow it down.

- The SUBWOOFER is in the right rear. I wonder if the ANC is not working right?
- The mid exhaust pipe bolts to the muffler in the right rear.
- Loose suspension part

Could be some strange resonance in the exhaust that is acheived by the higher speed. Most likely something lose underneath vibrating against something else.

Take her to the dealer, if it is as loud and obvious as you say it is, then it should easily be sorted/at least documented till something breaks.

Thanks

Thought about exhaust but doesn't make sound on reving engine, and don't use radio much. So, may be suspension.
