RDX Door Lights

Dope that I am I ordered in (from VLEDS) LED bulbs for the doors before figuring out how to install. Can someone bail me out on how to swap out the bulbs? Is there a trick to getting the covers off?

I just used a small flat blade screw driver with a rag wrapped around the end and wedged it in between the cover and door panel on the BOTTOM side. They come off pretty easily but you must do it from the bottom side of the cover, not the top.

Thanks!

Pretty much what I figured but like to ask just in case. Picking up car early next week and want to do several things right away. I imagine it's the same procedure for the ceiling lights, cargo lights, etc.

I didn't do the ceiling lights so I can't help there but the cargo lights are similar. But again they only come off one way. I think it was the side opposite the switch but am not 100% sure on that. The license plate and back-up lights have access panels in on the tail gate which make them easy to get to. Except the back-up lights are hard to rotate by hand because of the tight location and my big hands. I had to cheat and use a pair of pliers.

The cover for the ceiling (dome) light has a very narrow slot for a flathead screwdriver. The most you will likely be able to do is dislodge it very slightly. You'll have to get it out the rest of the way by hand. It's manageable though, just keep at it.

As for the map lights, they are not removable.
