Product cycle

I believe the all new model will arrive in 2019 only. They would want to get the maximum juice out of the 2016 refresh.
I've noticed that those brands which have a shorter product cycle generally do well and gain in prestige over time.

Honda/Acura is typically 4/5/6 model years depending upon model so a "all new" RDX could be on tap for 2018...or 2019. with the newer government mandates coming online for 2018-19 I would expect to see a chassis change earlier rather than later.
CL/TL 2nd gen was 2001 (early release for 01 CL in 2000) to 2003
3rd gen TL was 04-08
5th gent TL was 09-14 (an exception)
gen 1 RDX was 6 years

The grill looks like Acura's new grill, headlights resemble my current (RDX) "diamond" headlights, and the "sensing" tech on the windshield looks like Acura's current stuff. Makes me think it'll be the new RDX, maybe 2019 refresh.
