Power window lock

I have a question about the power window lock (child proofing) function of our new RDX. We sit in front an kid in rear. If I press the window lock, not only the rear windows are locked but the front passenger window is also locked. In addition I (driver) cannot move any of the locked windows at all until I deactivated the lock function. This is an annoyance for me. I think the driver should be able to operate all the windows regardless and the front passenger should be exempt (similar to all other cars I had before). Do you guys think this is an error or this is how it's supposed to be in RDX...??? Thanks.

This is how the power windows work in Honda cars for long. You need to get used to it.

I understand your concern, you just have to do it fast enough.
