Noise issue with 2013 RDX

The car has been flawless for about three years. Wife drives it each day and barely has 18K miles., Couple weeks ago wife tells me
there is strange noise from the front wheel area/driver side. I drove the car couple days later and indeed, when slowly turning , accelearating
or simply moving steering wheel while standing with foot on park, there is some strange "poping and banging noise" from the front/driver wheel
area.

Took the car to the dealer. Sometime later I got call that sway bar links are the problem and need to be replaced. Fine. Drove the car back home
in the evening and the noise is still there.

Anyone had something similar or has any ideas before call #2 to the dealer ?

Most likely the same noise I had with my 2013.

They need to to replace the shocks

If you say "change the shocks" then it won't be covered. If you say "I appreciate you looking at my car and trying to fix it by replacing the sway bar links but that hasn't fixed the problem. Could you look for other issues? Perhaps it could be a defective shock?" then it should be covered.

Going back to the dealer next week ...

Somewhat disappotined as my 2008 Highlander (purchased in Fall of 2007) has140K miles and only seen
the dealer for routine maintenance.

New strout took care of the problem.Reading above link, seems as some dealers are fixing noisy strouts ?
I was told I got new one ....that is 1 new one. I would think that strouts being mechanical in nature, would
have to be replaced in pairs to keep things balanced ....??

No more annoying noise.
