Neck support

Hi all, I took my RDX on its first truly long drive last weekend to the mountains and I am really liking it as a road trip vehicle. The power of the sweet sounding V6 and confidence of AWD when passing slower vehicles on slightly icy roads put a huge smile on my face I found the seats to be very supportive and comfortable too.

I had to work a little bit to find a good position to drive with my arm rested with an underhanded grip on the wheel but overall I am quite satisfied with the ergonomics of the driving seat.

However, I do not find good neck support on the RDX or the majority of cars I have driven. Do you have any ideas to improve this aspect on long drives?

I had this same problem with my 2008 Honda when I purchased it. Unfortunately, all new Honda & Acura vehicles have a head restraint system that pushes the back of the head forward, which is bad for neck support (as you already know). I've had this for 3 years and love it:

My friend has this one that he really likes:

Also, Wal-Mart carries simple dog-bone style pillows in the auto dept. You can try it out. If it doesn't work for you, just return it.

Mardigras, thanks for those suggestions. While I think they will be comfortable, I wish there was something that blended in with the leather seats Maybe something like this

Those look awesome. Do they not have the right color w/ Acura logo? If they do, I'd pull the trigger.

FYI... I asked the seller if the rest is beige and has the Acura logo on it as shown in the first picture and he said yes...
