MDX loaner

Had my car in for service and was given a 16 MDX as a loaner. To me it is a larger, smoother, quieter vehicle than my RDX but I like my RDX better size wise and my RDX is more agile.

One thing I found, with the new dual screens, there is no channel changer on the steering wheel, unless I could not find it. The only thing I see is you can change the stations on the second screen.

Anyway it was fun while I had it, but it is not worth the extra money for me.

To change the channel, track, etc. you push the track wheel to the left or the right.

I guess I could not find it. I admit that I could not concentrate on the steering wheel as I did not want to be involved in a collision. Thanks.

Yeah, I would have gladly driven this vehicle while my airbag fix came in.

That said I would likely need to park both of my RDX's in my driveway plus 2 rentals and my kids 3 other cars. Too many cars, not enough space.

Parents have a 2016 MDX, it feels A LOT bigger than the 2012 that it replaced. Plus it got heavier and doesn't feel as "super handling" as the older one. But it's still a nice car

Current MDX is several hundred pounds lighter than last generation.

I drove the 16 MDX for a couple days as a loaner. Updated tech is great but I must admit it drove and felt the same as my wife's well taken care of 08 MDX. I 've always like the way MDX drives and reason for buying one plus needing an SUV. The bluetooth connectivity and NAV response was good and there were times I did turn off the LKA as it got annoying, I like it as a night time driving tool to help keep me alert. I'll gladly buy this vehicle in 2021 with 60k miles on it. lol
