Hi All,

My keyless entry is driving me nuts. Few times felt like smashing in the window to get into the car because the damn keyless entry didn't work

This morning, I lock the car and go into a store. I come back out carrying two 2 litre cokes and walk up to the passenger door to get in. I tug on the door handle several times and it won't unlock. I then remove the key FOB from my pocket and hit the open door button several times and it still won't unlock. Needless to say there were several choice words coming out my mouth. I had to go around to the drivers door, unlock it and hit the unlock button inside to open the passenger door.

I've had this feature in both a Volvo and BMW and it worked in those vehicles.

 

I never had such a problem....Is your programming configured to open the passenger door as well? Or is this an intermittent problem you are having? Can't say I have experienced this myself....

 

No issues here at all. Works great. Check the programming. If that's ok check your other remote and see if that is doing the same.

 

Agree with the above. I've had 6 or 8 Acuras with keyless entry and they all worked flawlessly.

Either yours isn't programmed right or it needs service.

 

Check the battery in the fob. Or just replace it regardless.

 

Thanks all for the feedback. So it might just be my FOB. I'll have the dealer look at it.
