iPhone wire connection to USB

When I connect the iphone via the USB cable and play a song using Spotify it plays for around 2 seconds then stops. Any suggestions?

I think you have to listen to better music to make it work. Kidding aside, my iphone 11 isn't recognized by the car via USB. i have to use bluetooth and the center console to charge

That is funny, it is my daughter's phone I have no idea who that is on the screen. Bluetooth works but probably lower quality than the cable direct.
