Insurance comes with my RDX

It covers Tire, rim and vertical panel from dent. What's part on my car is vertical panel? Is this insurance worth to buy?

Vertical panels are basically the sides of the car. You don't say how much it costs but it sounds primarily like cosmetic insurance for curb rash on rims and parking lot door dings. I doubt it is cost effective. Paintless dent removal is cheap if you find the guy who does it for the dealers. Often this is an individual who makes a circuit and the dealers will tell you what day he will be at their lot or will give you his phone number. That way you can address problems on an as needed basis rather than paying an annual or monthly fee prospectively.

It's $300 for 7 years. Looks like it only insure original tires & rims, not sure it will cover panel breakdown.

$300 should cover three incidents. I've had paintless dent removal on my Audi before and it was $105 per dent. Put the $300 in your savings account and you're better off.

I decide to keep this insurance. Since discount auto charge $192 for four Michelin tires, with only 3 years warranty.

Mine includes tires, rims and dent repair.

when i purchased my audi, the dealer offered me something like this but they included aftermarket wheels in the coverage. just another way for the dealer to get money from you for something you will most likely not use.

I purchased similar insurance for my 2003 Toyota van + Interior protection plan (You know, I figured a couple of babies will do a number on the interior and exterior of my then new van)... $799 in 2003 money. I got one small punture from a pen in the leather seat and it was not covered. I was so disappointed that I swore off such insurance.

I am not sure if anything changed since then... but most insurance policies have so many exceptions and you need a law degree to understand it all. Don't take the salesman words for it "Oh yeah, it covers everything under the sun - you got nothing to worry about for years if you buy this insurance".... Sure .
