HID's not standard on ALL MODELS???
HID's not standard on ALL MODELS???
OK... this is the thing I don't understand... whenever you buy any type of luxury brand car... (Acura, Lexus, Infiniti, Audi, Mercedez, etc...) there are certain things that should just come standard... HID's is one of them. I don't understand why they took that away from being a standard feature...
LOL! Exactly my point!! It's like not including leather or sunroof as a standard feature... you spend $50k on a benz and no HID's??? Come on man! LOL... that's bogus! LOL. Maybe Acura did do it to save some kind of money...... I don't believe they are standard on the Lexus RX either.... ugh... the things that make me go hmmmmm LOL
I do find it quite odd that we in Canada have certain features that you don't in the US.. I mean I do have a white on ebony
Hate that we don't have the Pandora radio deally. It's free right? We got XM for 3 months then get jerked on stupid monthly pricing if we want to keep it. I probably won't sign up and then will have that stupid XM icon button staring at me everyday.
Only other benefit I see down there is pricing / negotiating. They are definitely not interested in moving on pricing much up here. I got almost $1,500 in accessories (remote starter, rear seat cover, etc.) but that was like pulling teeth..Might just be the few posts I've read, but it looks like dealers in the US are more flexible.
Finance rates are also terrible at 4.5% - had to go off home equity for a better rate. Good for me though is that I'm using as a "work vehicle" so claiming taxes..

Cablerat...I got the White/Ebony combo too
You do know that you can get XM Canada for 97$ a year (plus tax, fees already included)....total is like 109$ a year which isn't too bad.
Because of the loyalty thingy, I was able to bring my finance rate to 0.25% which is great...I am paying like 125$ of interest throughout the 36 months!
The sad part for me is that the "work" I do in my RDX can't be used as a tax right off....*lol*

Yeah I'm in National Sales and our company FINALLY moved to a car allowance program. Problem with that is taxes.. however being a primary home office, I will be able to claim like 75% business. My client or work office aren't far from my home office either so I don't really rack up mileage either - like 15,000 Miles annually.
cablerat...when you are ready to sign up, let me know and I can give you a promo code for XM Canada...send me a PM if you interested. Also, I just activated mine and they won't bill me until the 3 free months expire so this way, I was able to secure the deal while its still in effect...
