Gas in 2014 Acura RDX

I recently purchased an used 2014 Acura RDX AWD. I was reading the manual and it said that it recommends top tier gas. I have no problem with that but I was wondering if it's okay to switch between different gas companies when filling my tank. For example, I go to 76 one week, and then I switch to Shell or some other top tier company.

I generally stay within the top tier group, but will use others when I'm traveling and in a pinch. I tend to use the same gas pump station for all my cars whenever possible.

Any busy gas station will do. Try to avoid the stations that are little used.

This 1000X. Make sure wherever you fill that it is a high traffic area. New clean fuel always coming in and not sitting in the tank aging forever.

The "little used" ones are easy to spot. They have a sign out front which reads "Out of Business".

There is a 76 gas station in my town, it's not that busy considering that my town is small. But 76 is listed as a top tier station. Should I go on the highway if that is the case?

There are two issues - how often is the tank filled and how new is the tank?

How busy is "not that busy" - a car a day or a car or two at the pumps every time you drive by?

You don't have to go out of your way like the highway (unless it is close by and top tier), stick to top tier as much as possible. My city is kind of odd because we don't "really" have suburbs and it is just kind of a mix of industrial and residential. Therefore we have gas stations deep inside some neighborhoods. These ones I avoid like the plague, the ones near busy roads or heavily used roads I fill up at.

Like Ceb said, how busy is not very busy? Are there any stations that seem to get a majority of traffic and are also top tier? What other members and myself are warning you about are stations that only get a few cars a day or less.

Every time I drive by I see at least one or two cars there. I don't usually drive past it because it's out of the way. I've went there for the past two times just to fill up on a few gallons each time because it was only $2.51 a gallon for super/premium, A majority of the top tier gas stations that have a lot of traffic are on the highway. I've seen Valero, Shell, Mobil, Citgo, and Exxon. There are a few BP stations but I don't think the premium for BP is considered top tier.
