First and last post?
Acura lost me. I was happy with my 2015 RDX, great V6 engine, sporty feeling. Not a luxury car, but good enough to be appreciated. So, I decided to trade it for a new 2020 RDX.
No problem I thought. Went to my dealership - BTW always treated right there, great service, good people - and looked at the new models. Drove a CPO 2020 sh-awd advance.
Hmmm, technically great, all the features great, HUD loved it. Engine - did not like it much. My old V6 was better. I did not understand the claims about the 4 cylinder having more torque then the V6.
But I was willing to trust the experts at Honda, maybe my impressions were not correct.
Then I tried to negotiate a deal. Trade my old CPO 2015 with 23k miles in almost perfect shape and buy this 2020 CPO. The offer I got for the trade was a joke. The 2015 was orig. their CPO,
maintained by them, never serviced anywhere else. KBB and Carfax trade-in was 4k higher then their offer. The price for the new 2020 was OK, they just would not give me a fair deal on the trade.
So I decided to look elsewhere. Tried the MB GLC and GLE, why do they use a 4 banger in a large car like the GLE? Tried the BMW X5 - yes! the base engine is a V6! What a difference.
The car was great. Luxury, space and power. So I got it. New CPO X5, for a fair price, plus they gave me $4k more on my trade in. How is that possible? I don't care anymore.
The X5 is great, fun to drive with a lot of bling. It'll take me a while to learn everything, but driving is fun again. No regrets.
For some reason I had to re-register for this post, not sure what happened with my old logon....

Not sure why you went through the trouble to re-register to post this. An X5 is a very different vehicle. Almost everyone who complains about the RDX, is comparing to more expensive vehicles. I'm glad your X5 is CPO, so it come with a warranty. Having owned a BMW...I would never, ever own one without a warranty. Best of luck to you.
