Engine Air Filter
Engine Air Filter
Just replaced mine today and it couldn't be any easier. Just undo the two clips, lift up the top housing enough to lift out the air filter by the tab on the top left side and replace with new one (I didn't lift any higher than I had to and it appears the left side of the housing is hinged and somewhat restricted in movement). Should take less than a minute. If I missed something please let me know
Don't want to start any K&N vs OEM etc. pissing contests with this post. I used the OEM filter. I had about 12.5K miles over about 13 months and it really didn't look too bad just some minor grit/grime on the underside

$115 isn't ridiculous from the dealer's point of view if they get most people to say okay. For those of us that are enlightened, have the skills and know how it's absolutely ridiculous!!
