Emblem Removal – Debadging

I know this is silly to some folks, but I’ve always preferred a cleaner look to my vehicles. As such, I remove as many emblems/badges as I can – especially easy with the ones installed using two-sided tape with no pins.

I’m guessing that the “RDX” and “AWD” name plates on the tailgate don’t have pins. Can anyone confirm that? Has anyone else debadged?

the only "pinned" emblem is the A (or caliper, if we're getting technical)

you can debadge RDX and AWD in similar fashion to how you did with your other vehicles.

I like to pour warm/hot water down the trunk/hatch to heat up the adhesive and then use fishing line to saw off the emblems

Thanks. When I did our TL a number of years ago, I had parked it in the sun on a hot day - the emblems practically lifted right off.
