Cargo Cover question

I'm pretty sure I read this some where but can't find it now, but is there a difference between tech and non-tech cargo covers? I see when buying one they ask, but wasn't sure if there's an actual difference in size. Doesn't make sense why it would be if it is. Thanks in advance

No difference. Part numbers vary only by color.

Cargo cover

I just ordered one for my RDX W/tech.

There is a difference.

The first one that was sent did not have an "A" on the end of the part number.

The dealer sent a second one with the "A" on the end and it fits perfectly.

The dealer told me that the first one would work but they wanted to send the correct one for my RDX.

I'm puzzled as to why there would be a difference.

Possibly a subwoofer configuration in the rear? I am shooting in the dark here, but maybe?

Whoops, Pings is correct. Sorry, I completely missed the A on the end when I looked at the part numbers.

I'm debating between a darker tint or the cargo over for privacy. Any suggestions?

My 2002 Highlander came with a cargo cover. In 13 years/191,000 miles of driving, I didn't use it once. After the first few months, having to remove it whenever I folded the seats down to put something large back there, I finally took it out for good. I put it back two weeks ago - on the day I traded it for the RDX (which DOESN'T have one ).

It is a must to keep prying eyes out of your back area. Prevents break ins. It looks good imho. Should have had the shelf like the previous gen as it fits on the floor if you don't need it.
