Is the RDX capable of beeping once for the first pressing of lock on the remote key? Right now it beeps on the 2nd pressing of lock.

 

If I'm not mistaken the 2nd push of the button sets the alarm.

I know that the audible beep can be turned off / on through settings.

 

The alarm sets on the first button push. In fact, it sets when you simply press the door lock button with the door open, then shut the door. Probably lets the battery last longer. lol

When using the remote, I much prefer the inobtrusive beep, rather than the annoying honk of the horn heard on many other vehicles.
