Bad news come in 4?
My wife called me today on her way home from work and told me the 14 RDX is giving her a few error messages. I checked it when she got home and they are:
Check AWD
Hill Assist Not Operational
Check Power Steering
Check VSA
I took it on a test drive and during acceleration the engine will cut off and lurch, steering felt a bit harder than usual. Going to get it towed to the dealer in the morning.
Has anyone experienced this?

Battery might be on its last legs. Dying batteries are notorious for throwing weird codes and with the ECU's controlling everything in modern day cars, there needs to be a solid battery in there.
But also check your tire pressures to ensure they're all to spec, cold

I figured it may be the battery, but I'd rather have the dealer diagnose it.

The dealer just called and said they've ordered a PCM and should be here in the morning. This is the first step of their process of elimination... so they're not sure.

Dealer called towards the end of the day to inform me that PCM replacement did not fix the problem. The SA said Acura Engineers suggested them to replace the PCM even though the dealer techs didn't think it would help. Since it's covered under warranty, the took the engineers' advise. The dealer ordered MAP sensors and think that will solve the issue. Well see tomorrow!!

What is PCM and what is Map sensor? Can you explain a bit please as to what functions do they do. Thanks.

All set! MAP (MAF) sensor, not sure which is right but will check when I pick up, did the trick. I was told both replacement units took are of all the issues.
The dealer also took care of a few TSB's include airbag recall.

The MAP sensor is the manifold absolute pressure sensor. The PCM uses it to get data to decide about fuel injection timing, etc.
The MAF sensor is the manifold air flow sensor. It's also used my the PCM to control fuel injection timing, duration, etc.
IIRC, engines usually have a MAP or a MAF but not both. I'm not sure which the RDX has.
Google will give you more info about them than you probably want to know.
Seems weird to me that those sensors would have any bearing on the issues the OP was having since they deal with the fuel/air mixture in the engine and the error codes seem to be more related to transmission functions (hence the attention to the PCM).

The PCM is the Powertrain Control Module. Basically, it's the computer that controls the engine and transmission functions. Some cars divide the functions into two modules, an ECM (engine control module) and a TCM (transmission control module). The MAP sensor is the manifold absolute pressure sensor.
